Narrogin Walk Trails Master Plan

The Shire of Narrogin has recently appointed Transplan Pty Ltd to prepare its Walk Trails Master Plan. There are already several trails within the townsite area: at Foxes Lair, at Railway Dam, and the old (1988) in-town Heritage Trail.

The Walk Trails Master Plan report will include the following elements:

  • Context and setting (including geographical opportunities & constraints)
  • Review of the existing trail network (Including an ‘audit’ of all existing trails)
  • Assessment of target areas for potential trail development
  • Community consultation – summary and outcomes
  • Prioritised list of potential trail routes
  • A detailed route description of the recommended trail route(s)
  • Comprehensive works list, with budget / cost estimates
  • Description of infrastructure requirements
  • A logical implementation schedule
  • Recommended interpretive sites, themes and styles
  • Summary of possible interpretation – content & style of delivery
  • A possible interpretive panel signage design
  • Broad scale mapping of potential trail route(s)
  • Mapping of recommended trail route
  • Sample drawings (trail sections, sign styles etc)
