Narrogin Trails Master Plan – draft report submitted

Posted by on Feb 20, 2019

The final draft of the Shire of Narrogin Walk Trails Master Plan has been submitted to the Council. The report makes a number of recommendations including:

  • a heritage trail route through the CBD of Narrogin, with sites for interpretive panels and trail directional markers pinpointed – to enable follow-up work to commence
  • a set of stories covering the interesting history of Narrogin. Rather than focussing on the many historic buildings, the proposed interpretive stories are all about the characters, the events and history associated with the town
  • upgrading requirements for the existing walk trails within Foxes Lair – the stunning bushland area that sits right on Narrogin’s doorstep
  • upgrading requirements for the existing walk trails within the Railway Dam Reserve
  • upgrading requirements for the existing trails within Gnarogin Park
