Imbil Brooloo Rail Trail

Mike Maher (Transplan Pty Ltd) is once again joining forces with Mike Halliburton Associates (Brisbane, Qld) to undertake a planning study for the proposed Imbil to Brooloo Rail Trail (in the Gympie Regional Council, Queensland). The first stage of the planning exercise is to evaluate the disused railway corridor for potential development of a trail. Consultation with adjoining landowners will also form part of this study.

Fieldwork will be undertaken to photograph key elements of the former railway corridor to enable a series of “artist’s impressions” to be prepared. These artist’s impressions will be helpful in informing adjoining landowners, and other key stakeholders, just how the rail trail will look when constructed.
